David reached age 11 and was excited to take his place for a week at Summer Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, the family tradiiton his six siblings before him had enjoyed.As his mother, I helped him pack for the trip. I had bought him new underwear and included the new package of underwear in his luggage. I also added a self addressed card to send to us from camp as a good exercise in writing.
Fortunately David was back home with his head still attached and still "filling good" before the card below arrived.
P.S. Also... his new underwear was still new in the unopened package.

Mothers of pre-teen boys everywhere can identify - with the underwear situation as well as the card from camp! I recently talked to a mother of one such preteen boy who discovered on the 5th day of vacation that he had not packed his toothbrush!
David was and continues to be such a cute little brother.
